The website is provided by the appointed hosting service provider on external hosting infrastructure. Local files, language and tracking
Photographs, audio samples, fonts and technical libraries load from this website’s hosting. The live website does not use Google Fonts or external library CDNs for these files. It does not use its own audience analytics or tracking or marketing cookies. Your selected language is stored locally in your browser as jo-kern-language to retain that preference. You can remove the entry in your browser settings. This setting is used for the requested language function, not tracking.
External videos: Vimeo and, where applicable, YouTube
External video players load only after you explicitly agree following the displayed notice. Without that agreement, the corresponding player is not requested. Activation transmits information such as IP address, browser information and the requested video page to the provider, which may process further data and cookies. The legal basis for activation is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent applies only to the activated video area and is not stored permanently. You can withdraw consent for further requests by disabling external videos or reloading the page; data already transmitted cannot be recalled.
Vimeo is provided by Vimeo.com, Inc., USA, and processing in the United States is possible. Its privacy policy describes transfer mechanisms, retention and your rights. YouTube is subject to Google’s privacy policy, and data may also be processed outside the EU. You can use this website without activating external videos.
Contact requests
The contact form does not submit your information to a website server. It only prepares an email draft in your local email application. Information is transmitted to the stated email address only when you send that draft yourself. When you contact us by email or telephone, the information you provide is processed to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Information is retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, subject to statutory retention duties.
Links to other services
WhatsApp, social-media, podcast and other external links open the respective providers’ services. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit those services. This website does not automatically load social-media plugins.
Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.
